If you have an article that our readers need to read and you can write it for us in a clear and compelling style, we want to hear from you. But if you want to hear from us, you need to follow these guidelines.

1) Why We Exist

JesusEmptyTomb is a source of information for web-seekers who are exploring the controversies of the life, death, burial and resurrection (define resurrection) of christ (define christ). We provide a biblical-based point of view for the ultimate answers to these questions, but we are open to examine the evidence presented by media, documentaries and researchers.  When you contact us, clearly explain how your proposed article or contribution will help fulfill this mission.

2) Payment

At present, we don’t pay writers for content. However, when you submit material to us, your name and contact information is provided in the credits in the article.  If you publish your own blog or website, you benefit from the publicity and your site gains higher search engine status with more in-bound links to your site.

4) Experience Equals Evidence of Success

If you have been published before, you can send us a sample of your work.  If you are unpublished, you will need to send us more than an idea. You will need to send us proof that you can execute the idea. That means you will need to include an explanation of why this article is important to our readers and why you should write it, a detailed outline for your proposed article, and a written introduction section that helps us assess your skill and style.

5) Style and Substance

Our readers are looking for good information, not your personal opinion.  Unless your name is Billy Graham, your opinion likely will not carry much weight with the general internet audience unless you write with substance.  An article should address a single question, compare the viewpoints, quote the experts, provide evidence, and only then provide a conclusion.  Articles should be well written and enjoyable to read as well as informative.

6) Focus

There are millions of issues related to the Christian faith (define faith).  We happen to focus on the most important one – “Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose (define rose) again, according to the scriptures”.  We will not accept articles related to politics unless a politician is speaking about an issue of the life of Christ.  While we support the right to life, protection of the unborn, human rights of the oppressed, the doctrine of creation (define creation), these issues are answered elsewhere.

7) Article Format

An individual article should be about 500 words.  If a subject is treated in an in-depth manner, split the article into sections with clear titles that delineate the chapters.  Pages are best optimized for search engines when they are between 400 and 900 words with a title that is relevant to the words in the body of the text.  Submit your work in the contact form.

8) Ownership

When you submit something in writing, you must indicate that you are the owner and author of the work.  Quotes and research references should be given proper credit to the original author.  If you include photos, please indicate in writing that you are the owner of the work.
